Mr. Black, allow me introduce you to Ms. Black. This dark smoky cocktail ends up being surprisingly subtle, considering the bold ingredients: Scotch Whisky, Coffee Liqueur, dash of orange bitters, a Spiced Syrup.... oh, and just a touch of cinnamon smoke acts as both a garnish and tasting experience. Because where there's smoke there's fire, and honestly, what kitchen is complete without some fire? 😉

Vote here:Smoked Glass: Break Cinnamon sticks in half, and place on a fire safe surface. Use culinary torch to set sticks on fire, and extinguish flame by inverting the glass you'll serve the cocktail in over the cinnamon sticks. Let smoke settle in glass while you prepare the cocktail.
Combine all ingredients in mixing glass, and either stir or swirl to mix. *Tip- allow simple syrup to come to room temperature if stored in the fridge.
Once liquid is prepared, remove glass from your cinnamon fire, and pour cocktail as smoke rises. Cheers!!
