Avocoffee

In areas of Mexico, people often eat avocados sprinkled with rum and/or sugar for a simple dessert and in South Asia avocados are eaten as a shake with milk and sugar and sometimes coffee. These ideas all come together in this cocktail affectionately called, the Avocoffee.

 2 oz Rum
 1 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 4 oz Coconut milk
 2 oz Avocado Simple Syrup
 0.50 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur(float)
 4 Coffee beans

Add the first 4 ingredients into a cocktail shaker and dry mix them together until blended.

Add some ice to the shaker and shake until cold.

Pour the mix into a coupe shaped glass.

Garnish with a drizzle of the last 1/2 oz of the coffee liqueur and the four coffee beans.

Avocado Syrup

To make an avocado simple syrup, mix 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water, and half of a large avocado.

Mash the avocado in the liquid and then bring it to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.

Remove from heat and let cool before use.

Ingredients
