Delight your taste buds and join me for A Holiday in Turkey. This cardamom inspired cocktail is a riff on a Turkish style coffee. It's smooth, not too sweet, with a velvety texture and a surprising note of chocolate.

 1 fl oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 1.50 fl oz Irish Whiskey(Teeling - rum-finished)
 0.75 fl oz Ruby Port
 0.50 fl oz Cardamom & Cinnamon Simple Syrup (See directions for recipe)
 2 dashes Orange Bitters
 1 dash Angostura Bitters
 1 Egg White
 1 Grated Dark Chocolate Garnish

Combine all ingredients into a shaker tin.

Give it a “dry shake” to emulsify the egg white.

Add ice to the shaker and shake until well-chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with grated dark chocolate.

Cardamom Cinnamon Simple Syrup

• 14 Green Cardamom Pods
• 2 Cinnamon Sticks
• 1 cup water
• 1 cup sugar
Directions:
1. Bring cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks, and water to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes to impart the flavors.
2. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved.
3. Reduce heat and simmer for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Remove from heat and steep until cooled, approximately 45 minutes.
5. Strain out the cardamom pods and cinnamon sticks then bottle the syrup.
