Tom Turczyn (pron. Toortshyn)

Tom Turczyn is a dessert cocktail inspired by Espresso Martini and White Russian. The name is inspired by the Tom Collins cocktail and a friend named Tom Turczyn who was among the first who tried it. Tom Turczyn is an amazing combination of aged Nicaraguan rum and Mr Black liqueur with addition of a fresh espresso shot, topped with milky foam. It is not just a looker - it is also a divine treat that will make coffee and rum lovers happy and beg for more.

 45 ml Aged Rum(Flor de Caña 5)
 45 ml Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
 45 ml Freshly Brewed Espresso
 15 ml Simple Syrup (1:1)
 30 ml Fresh Milk

Pour all ingredients (except milk) into the shaker, fill with ice and shake for 15 seconds

Strain into old fashioned glass filled with ice. Do not empty the shaker after pour!

Pour milk into the shaker which should still contain the remainder of the previous step. Add more fresh ice.

Shake for 15 seconds and carefully strain into the glass to create the milky foam which should also have some notes of rum and coffee.

  1. Some people say that you cannot start a day without a good, aromatic coffee. I think you cannot end your day without having a sip of this coffee cocktail. But don’t underestimate it’s temperament as it has way more to offer than just a coffee booze mix! The first thing that you will feel is a subtle yet strong punch of coffee. You can literally close your eyes and go back to XXII century Yemen, where Arabica originates from.
    Immediately after that a taste of Anjeo Clasico will rush through your palette and warm your mouth like a lava from the Nicaraguan volcano at which’s base this delicious Flor De Cana rum is aged.

    Two things are guaranteed after trying this. First that you will spend your entire night dancing salsa in the heat of the night. The second is that you will definitely come back for more.
